Menopause at the Medical School

A Menopause at the Medical School event was held recently at the university of Warwick and led by the Athena Swan Menopause Task Force and Unit of Academic Primary Care.
The seminar, held for staff and students at the university, was attended by over 100 people on the day and highlighted the importance of menopause in the work place.
Speakers at the seminar included Dr Louise Newson (Menopause Specialist and GP), Mr Anthony Parsons (Consultant Gynaecologist at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire) and Ms Julie Robinson (Founder of Menohealth).
Dr Sarah Hillman who co-lead the event said ” It was fantastic to see such great engagement from staff and students at the university, the event highlighted just how important the menopause is in our workplace”.
