Dr Louise Newson Joins Prof Tim Spector for Webinar on COVID-19

Recently, Dr Louise Newson joined Professor Tim Spector, co-founder of ZOE for a webinar on the subject of COVID-19 and gender. The webinar was part of a weekly series from Tim Spector and his company ZOE, an organisation that founded The COVID Symptom Study. In recent months, Dr Newson has been working closely with this team on exciting research looking into the potential effects of oestrogen on reducing the severity and mortality from COVID-19. Dr Newson was delighted to take part in the webinar, discussing hormonal therapies, COVID-19 and why men might be more affected than women.
