The Women’s Bone Health Survey
Take part in our Bone Health Survey to help future generations protect their bone health.
Did you know, when a woman’s hormone levels (oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone) drop during perimenopause and menopause, bone density reduces at a faster rate than new bone tissue grows.
The reduction in bone density can lead to conditions such as osteoporosis which develops over several years.
We are inviting all women in the UK to take part in The Women’s Bone Health Survey if they are either:
- Aged 40 and above
- Aged 39 or below and have had an earlier than normal menopause
By sharing your experiences, you will be helping us to understand how we can help future generations to look after their bones.
